I´ve checked online and tried a few of those demo recovery programs. I know the photographs are still there somewhere. As I am still in the middle of my travels, I don´t want to pay for the program and don´t want to wait till I return eitehr. Both options cause complications.

I have tried websites that offer free software and the likes, but found nothing - yet. Do you know where I might find something usefull to help me get my great files back?

I have tested some of the photographs and seen the photographs and the exact files lost. I am 100 % certain the information is inside.

It is NOT impossible to retrive it.

Once data has been deleted from a "flash" memory card, it can not be retrieved.

Anything deleted from an external drive, unlike that on the hard drive, cannot be recovered. Just shows how important it is to back up data.

media recover from greenstreet

Programmes like this are often on the DVDs with PC mags

Don't use the stick at all until you have tried to recover otherwise the files could be overwritten

Try "Recuva" file undelete, for free.

I don't know how successfull it will be trying to recover deleted files from a flash drive, but for free, it's worth a shot.

Hope it helps.
