The criteria for you to get into Heaven is this:-

1. You will worship only one God and thats me.

2. You will not worship or bow down to anyother person or idol except me.

3. You must never swear or use Gods name in vain.

4. You shall remember and keep the Sabbath day holy.

5. You must respect your father and mother (no matter WHAT type of person each is).

6. You must never kill anything or anyone.

7. You must not commit adultery.

8. You must never steal.

9. You must never lie about someone else or give false information about them.

10. You must not ever be jealous about what someone else has.

The Ten Commandments.

Im not Christian, but i guess thats what they will all say. Less you have any unfinished bussiness to attend too and then your stay in limbo. Stuck between two worlds as a ghost. Think if i had to choose between the two id choose Limbo...lol

There are no criteria for getting into heaven. That's because there is not one person on earth who could actually live up to them. There is only one way to heaven, and that's through faith in Jesus Christ for who he claimed to be. Salvation is through grace alone, and not by a checklist of criteria.

As for there only being a choice of heaven or hell, the reason is, there is only good or evil, there is nothing in between. Hell is the eternal prison made for evil. And if you think you're not evil, I think you should look up the definition. But no worries, all you have to do is accept Jesus, and all that evil is washed away clean, and you're given a second chance to live obedient to God. That's how God is a loving God. He always gives you a another chance in life. He will always afford you the opportunity to come back to him. But if you spend your entire life rejecting God, and rejecting his plan for salvation, Jesus himself said, "you will indeed die in your sins."

What did you think you should get for spending your life rejecting God? A free pass into heaven? Get real.

The support of Jesus Christ is all that is needed, because only he decides, (John 5v22). Example, Luke 23v43.
So, it might be a good idea to live life to please him.
Concerning your second question, yes. As far as I know the choice is life or death - there is no 'don't know' destination. That choice can only be made now.

Many answerers above say you need to be dead to be in heaven. Not strictly true, eternal life begins inside us now by the inner working of the Spirit of God. Note the *continuity* of life mentioned by Jesus in John11v25~26

Criteria? Like sitting for an exam? Passed you go in, failed you go down below. So what is to happen to those who score 50;50? Will their soul be floating in obit?
God send his only son to earth to save sinners, Everybody has a chance to repent Do good to others so others may do the same to you. Those who believe in him shall have everlasting life. If you strongly believe there is a God then there is one in your heart. I am not a perfect Christian but I believe in what I have said. Good night. God bless.

Give lots & lots of money to the church. All is forgiven if you just pay enough. How much is enough? All of it.

The Bible says a rich man cannot enter into the kingdom of God, so church leaders (especially evangelical preachers) are doing you a huge favor by taking all your money so you can go to Heaven.

Naturally, being filthy rich off your money ensures that THEY won't get into Heaven, but that's a sacrifice they're willing to make in order to ensure that YOU get into Heaven. Aren't they wonderful?

So sell your house & car, raid your children's trust fund, clear out your life savings, and send a check today. Or use PayPal. Personal deliveries of cash are fine as well, just send in the money.

The Right to Enter Paradise

Death is inevitable. The thief on the cross knew when his would occur, but we can not predict our own. After his death, the crucified criminal went to live in paradise with Jesus. Some of us will also live eternally in God's presence. But others will experience everlasting torment in Hell, forever separated from Him.
If we receive Jesus as our Savior, our penalty for sin is paid. We are adopted into God's family, and Heaven is our eternal home. If we reject Jesus, we remain alienated from the Lord and under condemnation for our sin. We are destined to experience eternal judgment. God won't accept any of man's excuses because there is no acceptable defense for unbelief. (Acts 4:12)
Become part of God's family today. Acknowledge your sinfulness, and express your faith in these words:
"God, I have sinned against You. (Romans 3:23) I've followed my own way and refused to give You the right to rule in my life. (Romans 3:10-12) I recognize I am separated from You and cannot rescue myself. I do believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I accept the truth of the Scriptures? that His death on the cross paid my sin-debt in full. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) And I ask You to forgive me of my sins. (1 John 1:9) By faith, I receive You, Lord Jesus, as my personal Savior from this moment on."
If you just spoke those words to God, then, like the thief on the cross, you have received salvation? a gift of God's grace. The heavenly Father welcomes every person who comes to Him through His Son, regardless of background, age, or current situation. Through Jesus, the right to enter paradise is yours!

Only God dwells in Heaven , sadly you have been mislead about this bronze age myth.

Similarly , there are many Bibles now without the word Hell , this too was a lie .

If nothing else, this question gives the 'armchair preachers' a chance to strut their stuff - and on Sunday, no less.

"God" is merely shorthand for "good". Be a good person, treat your fellow humans with respect, live so you don't bring shame to yourself and your loved ones. There is no Hell, it's a sham created by the church to help assure your good behavior and obedience to church laws.

Everyone goes to Heaven.

acknowledge that Jesus died for our sins...and ask God for forgiveness for those sins...however, u cant just ask for forgiveness...u have to actually mean it.
the whole hell thing, your going to get a bunch of diff answers...catholics believe in purgatory. i am not catholic and do not believe in such a place. it seems you have alot of good questions...maybe get a study bible with an index, it can lead you to specific passages.i dont know if u go to church or not but if thats not something u want to do there are study groups all over with specific age groups.
You may need to discover the answer to your questions yourself, because everyones beliefs are different.
Anyways...best of luck and God bless.
