For me it's tension headaches that start with knots in my neck and work their way up. The back of my head is next and then it turns into a band of pain around my head. They can actually get bad enough to be migraines, with nausea and light sensitivity.

Usually either the ones at the base of your skull by the top of your neck, or the kinds that cause you to feel dizzy, nauseous, or tired.
But that's just me. Advil works well for me. Also, try a little bit of coffee. Not too much, but just enough to give you a little boost.

The ones, that it feels like you are getting pounded on, by an object such as a hammer.

Whenever I get anxious I rarely get headaches. If I do, it's more a dizzy feeling, nothing like a migraine.
