I currently use a Pentax 35mm SLR thats 20 years old and i want to upgrade to a new digital SLR. I have a Tamron macro lens that i would like to use on the new camera. Is it possible on any DSLRs ? What adapters would I need?

Fortunately for you, the new Pentax DSLR line accepts all K-mount lenses made since 1975.

The K100D Super is 6.1mp and has dust removal for the sensor; the K10D is 10mp and has dust removal. BOTH cameras have the Image Stabilization (IS) in the camera body so the older lenses, although you'll have to manually focus them, will have the advantage of IS.

In my adventure, you could continuously get closer with an SLR (even without macro lens) than with a compact digicam. yet sure - you could continuously take a image from distant and zoom in. besides the reality that not perfect, you additionally can purchase a low value set of macro filters to place on the inventory lens.
