very funny on a tv show...in real life, probably you don't want to ruin someones day. and lighten up people, i assume its just a joke, and not directed at a certain man. In fact, the askers name is bill. it is just a question. this person isnt actually thinking some groom is the father of their baby.

Well if the groom is the father then he has a right to know.I do wonder if his wedding day would be the right time to break the news though !!
I should imagine theres going to be some pretty hacked off people, and being 8 months pregnant would one want to put oneself through this very stressful situation !!

Tacky. The proper thing to do is approach the groom before the wedding day. Let him know as soon as possible.
If he still marries the other girl, you behave with dignity and do not show up at the wedding. What you do is see an attorney, as the groom still has financial responsibilities to support your child.
Good luck to you.

it is fine only if you come in during a pivotal moment, such as the first dance or cutting the cake and only if you shriek very very loudly your claim that the groom fathered your baby. and then going up to the bride and screaming at her, and possibly turning over the table the wedding cake is on while screaming at the top of your lungs like a demented person. how entertaining!!!!!

Very wrong...unless the groom really was baby's father. Then it might be funny. Regardless, it would be the talk of the town for quite some time.

That is a crazy idea...My suggestion is for you to stay home and tend to your pregnancy. A wedding is not the place to do something like that. If you feel this guy is the father, then I would do a DNA test and if he is proven to be the father, then he would have to support the baby.

well...first of all you need a legitimate dna test and show it to groom before hand. maybe you could call groom and bride for a "meeting" and explain it to them and show the proof. it is not so graceful to do so in the middle of a ceremony. that shows that you are seeking revenge and you are not concerned about the future of the baby. maybe the dad will support the kid. the reason that the guy has moved on is very evident here. maybe you still have unresolved issues with him and i also smell a little jealousy here...no offence intended. or the guy is a perfect ahole who could care less for his actions.......

Would it be any more wrong that getting a girl pregnant and marrying someone else? Would it be more wrong than knowing that you could be the father and not resolving this issue before getting married?
Is the pregnant lady wrong? Yes. But, so is the possible father.

Sounds like you should be a script writer for a soap opera. Really, you need to be sure that the guy is the father of the baby before you even think of such a thing.

Hmmmm how intersting ! I would be concerned about the effect stress has on the baby's and your health mostly but on the other hand if your mind is set.... as long as at the end of the day you get a good night's sleep and remain as stressfree as possible that's all you can do !
