How do i hook it up? When i put the hdmi cable into the ps3 and telly i just get a black screen, so how the hell do i hook it up! it s doin my nut in! And does the hdmi cable do sound for me too when connected into the hd ready telly?

you plug it in and go to display settings on the PS3
you set it to HDMI and when the screen goes black go to the HD channel

HDMI should transmit sound and video.
Check to see if your PlayStation 3 is set to send HDMI signals. In Settings there should be a display option. Set it to HDMI and follow the on-screen directions. Then make sure your television set is displaying the HDMI signal. It might be a display mode or something.

Just a thought, but have you put your tv on the correct hdmi channel?
