I live in Manhattan and I have already been to Duffy's and Conway. At Duffy's you can only get descent dress paint if you purchase the jacket as well and at Conway there are no fitting rooms.
I am looking for a store that has a wide selection of sizes that are organized by rack or shelf so that they are easy to pick out rather than being jumbled together. I would be willing to pay a little more for this convinience.

Try Century 21 Department Store (not connected with the Real Estate company) located in downtown Manhattan across from the WTC site.
C21 has top quality name brands (CK, Kenneth Cole, DKNY etc) and they discount from 40% and up. It is certainly worth taking a look at.

One caution though - it is a very popular store. Could be a bit crowed when you go - but I think you'll like what you see. You could wind up byuying other things as well.
BTW - the work is pants not paints [unless you plan to paint them on :-) ].
