It is well documented that there was no need for this. He decided on his own thinking the "Castle Law" would protect him. The "Castle Law" does not apply to this situation. He should be charged.

Although I understand what and why he did what he did, I feel he stepped way over his line.. I think he should be treated as a minor criminal and spend some (not alot) time for his decision to take 2 lives.. I think he needs to be made an example of for his choice to take the law in his own hands.. or atleast for discharging a fire arm in a residential neighborhood and reckless endangerment as he could have accidentally killed an innocent person such as a child. This is WHY we have judges and jury... and he was neither of those but decided to be both...

And to correct Carly.. they didn't crawl though HIS window, they had broken into a neighbors house which for all he knew they could have been a friend or a relative that simply forgot their key.

Now people are trying to justify it by saying they were illegal immigrants, but you tell me how he knew that before he shot them.. did he check their green card before he shot them? Even if he had that would still be murder..

He will be no billed by a grand jury. Just recently another homeowner killed someone breaking and entering in Houston. Third time in one month. The guy saw someone crawling through his window and opened fire. He had a sleeping wife, six month old, and 6 year old. You can be sure he will walk.... as he damn well should.

Justifiable homocide. Thank God for the 2nd Amendment.

He may be indicted because of the outcry from rabble rousers on the left and la raza, but he did not violate Texas law. Texas law allows home owners to use deadly force to protect their property and their neighbors property. I don't agree with the law, but that is Texas's Wild West mentality.

I think he should be given no punishment. He only did what was right.

He'll probably be release because he's White and the two burglers were Blacks.
But in my opinion, he should get the death penalty! He went chasing after them with a gun and shot them in the back. They were NOT burglarizing his house. He was not in danger. He was probably dying to shoot a Black man all his life and found this perfect opportunity.
Also, he's a liar, he then ran back into his own house and claimed his life was in danger.
