And then there was light; But what sort of light is law?
Isn't law the schoolmaster that fails every student?
Isn't the day of the LORD darkness and not light?

Hmmm, I wonder what light God was talking about?
Maybe there is a third aspect of "that God is light",
of light having no darkness at all, perhaps on 7th day.
For only on 7th day is there no evening and mourning.

Perhaps wise guy Solomon has a clue for us, saying
with all thy getting get understanding, is grace glory.

What are your thoughts on light, and on grace glory?

Gen.1:2; Darkness.
Gen.1:3,4; Let there be light.
Gen.1:6-8; Water above and below.
Gen.1:9-13; Plant life under the conditions.
Gen.1:13-18; Plant life under a more light condition to penetrate above mass.
Now day one through day four of God's time existed, now is plant life days and years [ Noah time in the flood, God's time is ages, eras & eons ], this life
sustaining earth was sacrificed in the flood, now there has got to be a new heavens and a new earth 2Pet.3:13; Rev.20:1-5;

Salam

The Lord said, In the beginning there was those who twisted my book, and so I took Jesus and his book with him Al INJEEL... what you are left with is some mans idea of becoming king 325 years later and keeping it that way.

Its impossible for you to have remembered exactly what you did and said even 1 week ago, no imagine all that time when time changes, languages change and monarchy changes. Surely you have all been fooled again and its called blind faith.
The Lord created Jibreal A.s. the Right hand of God that never bends and he made the big bang, it was the Right hand of God that created that LIGHT BANG! He is also the messenger to all prophets, if he is seen by evil human beings and or Al Jinn he is feared by them he looks fearful... if he is seen by human beings and Al Jinn that are good in their hearts then he is seen as a pure clean light of blessing and hope.. That is how it works... so that is why they keep saying Angels fall and surely it was the Devil Al Jinn made from smoke and fire that fell.. a dull pail light indeed is the devil and his marry band of rejects. Ever wonder why rich people smile stupid?

The light was created on day one; the greater and lesser lights (Sun and moon, and stars) were created day 4. Jesus Christ was the (day 1) light of the world.

Light comes from the sun. As far as I can tell it has no relevence to law or 'grace glory' (whatever that is?).

I think it's figurative - light being truth not literally light. And darkness is the matrix which light sits upon.

Actually God doesn't say anything. This is what mankind does. The line is a poetic expression of the working of God's will.

That light divided the darkness...that Light was Christ. (not created, just let there be..), but me thinks you know that already.
