while the picture itself is very clear and clean... the cat is not being the ideal model... giving you a 4 for effort...
images of reflective dog eyes are certainly not of commercial quality...
average of the two... 3

the critters each get a 10, they are cute and well taken care of and it is obvious
practice practice practice on your composition and editing.
the cat's paws are cropped and there is something in the eye could be edited out it gives me the heeby-jeebys .
the dog is not a good angle, the chair is clutter as are the other feet, and the dog's eyes could be edited to look more natural, but it is not a well composed image
the cat is well composed just too close, need the whole cat.

Your pets are cute! The photos are mediocre snapshots. I give the critters a 10, the images are about a 4. (I am a lab manager, so I have seen worse.)

i dont generally rate dogs/cats or any other animal for that matter... every animal is unique in its own way... as for the photographs... the Spaz's phot looks better.... btw both your pets look gr8... pity i have a doberman... cant have a cat around
