For starters if you've never raced you need to start small like a pure stock which is a 4 Cyl. then move up to limited late model then late model then if you good enough to be noticed or have enough cash or sponsor money you can buy a Busch car or cup car, but before you can drive you have to get your Nascar License which is about 1500 bucks in order to get that it helps to be a track champ somewhere, then if you are gonna do many short tracks you pretty much need a disposable car

well i race stock cars now and i love it. i first got into racing with my uncle. But i gt my first car when i went to a race and they had a 4ssal sign on it and we went into the pit and bought it. You should probably start there and then go on from there. Just to get the feel of it. The force is incredible!!! i am a girl and love racing as you can see from my pic. Good Luck Hun i am the same age as you!!!!

You have to find where your heart is because NASCAR and Drag races are two total different types of racing. Then after that start from the bottom and work thru it. Note: You better have lots of $$$ on either or big sponsors

The BEST way to become a race car driver is to have a talented, famous father who has won a ton of races so you can just ride his coattails and go racing. For the rest of us schmucks, we have to work a real job, spend all our spare time building and maintaining a race car that we pay for out of our own pockets and then go racing at the local track on weekends. If we are lucky, we run well enough to land some sponsorship and win some races, but there are no guarantees.
