There used to be a time when it was very difficult and perhaps even impossible to get a personal loan if one had bad credit. Many people think that still holds true todayBut what more and more lenders are starting to realize is that bad credit does not occur for the same reasons across the board.

Generally.....you don't.
Prosper.com is a legit site but they have started tightening up their credit requirements. Lendingclub.com is another site where you can apply.
Beyond those two, you are looking at asking friends or family for a loan.
