Understanding?

Question

In a relationship/marriage you would compromise for your spouse. I would compromise. What do you think?

All relationships and marriages involve compromise in one way or another. As long as what you compromise doesn't change the person you are then you are okay but once it starts changing you then you aren't being true to yourself and your relationship isn't going to make you happy anymore. Compromise is a necessity, but it should be arrived at thoughtfully, not arbitrarily.
