Cranberry Juice may have some effect on preventing kidney stones from forming, but once you've got 'em, they stay with you until you pass them.

I had an excruciating kidney stone that did not move until I took a mixture of lemon juice and olive oil. Within an eight hour time frame, the kidney stone moved about 6 inches. Before bedtime, I drank a bottle of beer. The two in concert helped me pass the stone in three days without pain. It worked for me.

No. Olive oil will do nothing at all. The idea of the acid in lemon juice to dissolve the stones sounds good but does not work, the effect on urine acidity is miniscule. Cranberry juice is reputed to work too.

I've never heard that one. Cranberry is a good diuretic. Also, beer helps, believe it or not.
