Jesus died on the cross but many believe that he was already married to Mary Magdalene. Indeed, during the wedding ceremony when he was asked to turn water into wine, it is believed that he was asked as the 'host' and groom. Mary Magdalene is mentioned above our own Mother Mary at the Crucifixion and she was the one who anointed Jesus in preparation for his death - an act that would only have been completed by a spouse or family member in Jewish custom. It is also believed that she was pregnant with their daughter Sarah, when Jesus died on the cross.

the Da Vinci code is an ok tale, yet it is all. there's no longer something to back up this tale in any admire. Jesus died on the go for us and he on no account married Mary Magdalene or had a newborn or something like that.

Hey cool, I get to say what the atheists say all the time: prove it!
WooHooo I feel good now, I got in the ultimate one-two punch, the phrase thrown so vehemently by atheists!
Weird, that feeling didn't last as long as I thought it would. Oh well, I'll stick to Christianity, that whole "prove it" high doesn't last but two seconds, but God's peace lasts all dang day lol
To answer you, yes He's the Son of God, yes He was a mortal for awhile, no, He did not marry Mary Magdalene and have kids, that's just a Dan Brown theory that's been proven to be a load of bunk.

I think you have watched far to much davinci code.
I belive that jesus, was a mortal aswell, but not a normal mortal one sent to earth by god to help people. And why couldnt he be married and have children?? I dont see why people go mad when people suggest this. I'm not sure though about the bloodline around today. Have you read The holdy blood and the grail, I found that interesting.
I also think he died on the cross, and all the things about him marrying happend before he died.

Now Jesus comes back, Mary is currently being brainwashed by Peter where it is written in the scared book (Bible) that Peter wed Mary Magdalene. She may not fall for the evil spell that could have her in the clutches of the man who denied he knew Jesus. This magical love spell may not be lifted in time before Jesus returns, so maybe Jesus will have to approach Peter to get his woman back. If she does realise before Peter asks he hand in marriage it will save Jesus honour.
Peter had his own woman and child, but did not love her he loved Mary Magdalene, but I believe it is this spell that has been cast and only Jesus can remove this spell.
Stay tuned

LMAO.. you are going to get so many hits on this... as soon as they see it on the preview they are going to either... roll their eyes, or answer with pride.
I am a Christain of the traditional faith, by the Bible. I was raised to believe if it is not in the Bible, dont bother.
As I have grown up and began studying my passion of History. I realized religion is someone's idea that took shape and many grabbed hold.
I believe there is a God who made this Earth and he sent his son Jesus to wash away our sins and through him we will enter Heaven.
On the same side of the coin... I believe the rest is chalked up to details in the sand. My faith and love for Jesus will not change if he were married or not, black or white, short or tall....
At this stage of the game.. I just hope I make it to Heaven...lol

He died on the cross, while Mary and Mary Madgdalene were at the scene watching. After Jesus died, his body was brought down and given to Mary. The claim that he had children with Mary is from the Da Vanci Code, and it may not be true.

What is truth? No one around to dispute or agree.
The Bible is not a book to rely on, and I am a christian. Having read different types of books I am waiting for the day when many people will open their eyes and come awake to the truth. Religion brings division. Seek and you shall find.

one of the stupidest question ever.
for me who know a lot of historical disputes over whether jesus married or not, this question is a piece of crap.
it lacks necessary research and effort to even confirm if jesus ever did or did not. whatever the case may be, i don't care. all i know is jesus was a good man and whether he is a god (as most christians say), a prophet (as what muslim and hebrew say), or a worthless bum (as what others say), i couldn't care less.
this is definitely a conviction of someone who believes whatever dan brown wrote in the da vinci's code. yes, it's interesting, and a crap it is. and it will always remain to be.
