There are two ways to solve it. Try them! :)
1. Cream your butter and sugar first before you mix in other ingredients.
2. I have a recipe you can try next time.
3 eggs, 3 cups of Self-Raising flour, 1 cup vegetable oil, 1 cup milk, 1 cup sugar. Then whatever flavour/ingredients you like.

When you cook them too long they will stick to the paper. I prefer to use the no stick spray on the muffin tins so that doesn't happen.
