Also, why do you think these people lie so much over the internet. I mean, do they really feel that the truth won't be found out eventually?

This is happening to me now. I met a guy off the internet and he has held me captive for the last 6 years and has forced me to marry him and have 2 kids with him. J/K of course.
Actually I had a Jerry Springer experience with a guy but not from a guy off the internet. My exhusband had sex with a friend of mine I met off the internet after we seperated. He then figured out she was a little on the crazy side saying she was pregnant when she wasn't and so on and so forth. Well when she finally realized her ploy wasn't working she started hitting on his brother. Now she is married to my ex's husband and has two kids with him. Now my ex has a crazy chic he had sex with as a sister n law. I call that Karma baby.

I didn't but my friend Heather did. She met a guy on the internet. He said he was 35, businessman, divorced with no kids, great career, etc. He had a fun personality so she thought "Why not?" She met him for a drink....he must have been 55 or 60 with dyed thin comb over hair, wrinkles, an indent where a wedding ring had been, and he didn't look like any businessman. She had the drink and then escaped. For all she knew, he maybe just got out of prison! What a nightmare! We don't ever meet up with any internet guys ever.

Havent met anyone too bad. The first woman I met from the internet had to have been 10 or so years older than she said she was. She was a little odd, but nothing too scary. I met a total of about 6 women from the net. Nothing odd about the others. The last one I met was almost 10 years ago - I married her ;)

my friend decided to do this and this guy mailed her a picture of him it must have been done like 20 years ago anyway he gets to the house and tells her to get that cigarette out of her mouth and he doesn't date smokers well he was about 300 pounds and ugly he was rude and ignorant i threw him out of her house the picture he sent her was that he weighed about 180 pounds and that he was well off well he lied and she should have never given him her home address but that was that
