Is there any exercise to make you run faster/sprints? And i need to know a effective exercise to build leg muscle.

I can speak from experience.Being that i was a 3rd fastest runner in my county(half of the county being black if that at all matters-im white)--3 things.1)technique-out of gate how feet are planted for maximum surge.I for instance didnt like starting out with foot straight on toes.--my plant foot was slightly turned to get that ball section under the big toe planted down.--for me it created max surge.You try it.--2)workout for strength,squats and then exercise on the universal where u push with legs(forget the name)--you also need to do as much stretching-do chin-ups too you will be surprised how much your legs aRE INVOLVED AND UPPER ARM STRENGTH IS REAL IMPORTANT IN SPRINTS.3) now this may be hard to find like i did it but you can do it im sure.--stride .When you get to max speed which if you are strong should only be in about 5 steps.you need to get into a STRIDE.--now how do you max stride?--well i did it by testing my normal stride and then shoot to increase it by six inches per step.--to do this wont be easy as you will need to lay down some chalk or baby powder along the whole distance and measure your strides(plural strides)--see and measure and write down each step and its distance.Now the first strides are out of gate so they will be shorter.then you will see how they become longer after each step up to the point where u reached max speed(about 5-7 steps when i ran).Get those measurements down pat then shoot to elongate those later strides.YOU DO THIS BY RUNNING LITTLE FUNNY YOU RUN By trying to extend your stride.You dont have to run full blast just 3/4 speed but extend and try to extend the stride.Once your muscles and legs and brain understand where and what u are doing then you will encompass it in a trial run full tilt.--like i said i was quick-real quick and could catch a football as good as anybody--and i mean anybody pro or otherwise.But being under 170 pre-cluded me from the pro's.--when i was 13 i ran the 75yd dash in 9.3 seconds-i was about 110lbs.that same day(about and hour later) i won the mile run for that county.--the reason i use when i was young is because im assuming your a teen.

Lunges my man are amazing! Do 100 lunges on each leg!
Run sprints up and down a hill like 10-20 times non stop.
Do some long distant runs to build enduarance.
Also wear ankle weights!

Jumping on a trampoline works wonders and won't give you shin splints or sore muscles! I am very serious! They are very inexpensive now and you can get one at Walmart or KMart. You can exercise to your favorite music and create all sorts of routines. Each day you will be able to jump longer and longer and it is so relaxing!

Do the bear crawl, where you run on all fours for about a mile...trust me it sounds lame but it really works and it builds big calfs and muscles in your legs and arms...or you can just run a couple miles everyday without stopping...riding a bike works 2 Hope tht helped

yeah, 30 mins a day on the treadmill
start at 5.0 and every 2 mins raise the speed up by 0.2 at the endof the 30 mins you should reach 8.0

i start with an incline of 1.5 and gradually raise it throughout the routine up to 5.5

The trick is that you have to raise the speed and incline gradually, you cant just start at 8.0 and expect to run that fast for 30 mins, youll overwork your muscles very quickly and youll get exhausted.

Why do you want to build leg muscle??? I thought you wanted to run faster....................???

lots of sprinting! do a ton of short sprints every day like a few a 100 meter dashes, or sprint as far as you can then walk untill you can sprint again and repeat

get some ankle weights and run in them then take them off and run without them
