It depends, what china are you talking about ? If your talking about the communist big one, the PEOPLE'S republic of china then hecky yeah i 'd love to go there it is my dream!!! i want to go to shanghai and Chongqing , the night life paradises of the world!!! in shanghai nanjing road it's like a totally better version of times square, i just love those skylines and night scenery especially shanghai but chongqing is good too! and if your talking about the other china (republic of china a.k.a Taiwan , the capitalists/ democratic ) then h-e-l-l no i'd rather stay in a dark basement with no food their cities are ugly and not fun and there skylines suck! and that taipie 101 tower looks like sh** , i think it's funny how they are capitalists and democratic but there cities look like communist went on a decorating rampage! in yet the real communist china , their cities look adorable and very alive!

I've been there numerous times since 1984, and will go back numerous times. My circuit there is mostly the same, visiting friends, making new ones, and so on. What impresses me the most everytime: people's friendliness and openness, complete strangers who will receive me and treat me like if I were a long lost relative...Sometimes, I wonder about those nasty remarks about Chinese I read on this forum. It looks like some Westerners have not been treated well during their stay in China...Maybe I am treated with respect because I treat others with respect?

By the way, I also love Taiwan!

i've been to china once.. to be honest, that trip doesnt really impress me in anyway.. i went to places like shenzhen, guangzhou n etc.. those place scared me off.. imagine using a toilet without a door?! and again, imagine the kids throwing firecrackers around without considering of others' security.. i saw an incident happened during that trip too.. where a caucasian is trying to get a taxi and was being pushed away by a chinese lady.. that's mean! but i guess the cities would be much more better.. i love the amazing great wall.. i'm pretty sure there's lots more to explore =D

I just got back. It was my third trip.
As always, the people impressed me most with their ready smiles and graciousness. I visited 10 cities from Beijing to Hong Kong. I want to go back to Beijing and Shanghai because of my friends there.

I really want to go.
And of course I'd love to see the town!
I can't even begin to imagine
how much cheap shopping there'll be.

Also the great wall of china!

I can't wait! =D
