My best friend has a cat who hates being touched. At best it will come to be petted for 20 seconds in the morning and then it walks outdoors until it returns in the evening. I wonder why her cat turned out that way.

Luckily for me, my two cats are lovebugs and can never get enough attention and hugs..

ive know some really nasty cats that will try to claw you as you walk through the door. i have got two black cats that are brother and sister. the males is affectionate and loves to be stroked and also to sit on your lap. but the female is very timid, and very rarly comes to be stroked, but each cat has different personalities. but all good natured animals can turn in a bad mood to be nasty towards people

most of our pets are good natured.

I think each animal does have its own unique personality. My Dog Bella has moods that vary. She can be a super sweet angel and real grump depending on her mood. She even seems to like some people more than others and she positively dislikes my brother-in-law and won't have a thing to do with him. Some cats I have had were very aloof and independent and we had others when I was growing up that wouldn't get off your lap unless they had to. I have come to appreciate that like people you love them for their own unique personalities or at least accept them as who they are.

I have two cats, one of them loves to be close to people, the other one prefers to keep distance. When we touch her once whe will spend 20 mins licking herself to make sure no scent is left on her. This is not very nice as we feel like she doesnt really like us. On the other hand, we cannot really choose our pet's character. They are just like us, some of us want to live in solitude whereas most of us prefer fun and company!

I have a tortoise....also..but is really hard to say anything about his nature...I find him very good natured, had him for the last 8 years. Even when he bites me I excuse him saying that this is the way he shows me his love;-) wicked huh??

My dog is the sweetest natured animal on earth. When he was a pup, our cat had a litter of kittens and he picked one up ,in his mouth, and took it into the garden to play. They have been the best of mates ever since, although Max is nearly 15 and Ceefor is 14.

Depends how the pet is treated and brought up in it's environment. My family has always had dogs and we've had a couple of cats and they've always been very good. We've never had any problems at all.

It's all about training and upbringing. If the owner is patient and is prepared to put the work (and love) in, they will have a happy and affectionate animal.

If a dog is untrained or any pet not cared for and not treated properly, it can be aggressive and hostile.

You put the work in - you reap the rewards! (But you have to be patient - it can take a while!)

Dog good natured
But animals are like humans they have good and bad attitudes ,this can be the way they are raised or the environment they are born to. But animals like humans are not revengeful.
But some pets like to be pampered and others don`t

I have 2 cats and they're both good natured in their own way. One of them is very cuddly, loves to be held, but is very mischievous. The other one is very shy, doesn't like to be held much, but is very well behaved.
