Visit Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Sony Wonder Technology Lab, Roosevelt Island, Richmond Old Town (Staten Island) and SOHO Area for some nice places to visit. Chinatown is also a nice and affordable place to get around into. Upper West Side has a lot of attractions for you to go to, as well as Midtown area, where the Broadway and Times Square situated. Do also travel to other boroughs like Queens and Brooklyn for more feel of local life and there are quite a few attractions for you to visit, like the Museum of the moving image in Queens and the New York Transit Museum and the Brooklyn Museum in Brooklyn is also worth a look.
Be careful of your belongings and always keep your belonging on your sight. Don't travel late alone at night and keep out of dark alleys and lanes and go to places where that are crowds at night. Don't go to Central Park at night too. Plaease do take care of yourself there and make sure that you look confident and have a local like if you do travel alone, even in the day time. Last but not least, do wear enough clothing to keep you warm as Feb is still quite cold there.
Anyway have a nice & pleasant trip down there and hope its help you to write at least some notes by the way.

I suggest you to go to the Rockefeller Center. It is really cool and fun to be in there, you would enjoy the shops, ice skating rink museum, and the city itself. I also would suggest you to visit Time Square, and Broadway Theater. There are awesome areas and places in New York City. You will love it! Enjoy!

you could stay 'extreme end' in lLondon. you could stay 'extreme end' in manhattan. in the adventure that your loved ones isn't experienced in return and forth and plan out their very own long island places, it must be an high priced proposition. on the different hand, in the event that they permit a return and forth agent to attend to each and every of the information, the holiday would be plenty much less high priced and extremely worthwhile. traveling long island city is an journey that would desire to no longer be neglected. i'm a sparkling Yorker, and that i visited London some years in the past. did no longer desire to pass yet became into talked into it. became into an incredible journey. evaluating the two, i'd would desire to declare that the two are super places to pass to. do no longer omit it.

Rockafella Center.
Go see a Broadway show.
Manhattan.
So much to do there.
Word of caution though,
do not carry a purse/pocketbook, unless you are holding it tightly against you.
Many pick pocketers out there and you don't even feel them going in.
Don't look scared, look positive, head up.
