alot of people rave abouth how good vaseline is but i dont agree i think its cr*p because when you start using it you need it all the time. what do you think??

Whenever I use a lip balm, I get 'hooked' meaning that I need it all through the day. Switching to vaseline I find that I get the results and relief I need without the need to continue applying. I just apply at bedtime and it keeps my lips moist and heals any dryness.
I guess everyone is different.

The need to use your vaseline "all the time" is considered normal because of the changing weather and environmental conditions. It's better to have sealed, moist and healthy lips rather than chapped, cut and bleeding lips. Which would you prefer. I use my petroleum jelly (the stuff that Vaseline is made of) everyday. And guess what? I'm a Vietnamese guy. I don't think you should get carried away. For me personally, I couldn't live without my vaseline!!!

It is cheap, and it is not good for you - it's petroleum (crude oil)
it does nothing but dry out your skin more - contrary to what people 'think' it does nothing for you - (that is positive).
Take two saltine crackers - in one place a 1/4 cup of mineral oil (baby oil) which is distilled petroleum (liquid vaseline)
in the other bowl add water (1/4 cup) to the cracker.
What does the petroleum cracker look like, hard as rock.

Vaseline helps, it does harbor minute germs unless you use the medicated type but, it's better then nothing. It's not good for sex, it harbors yeast infections and other things so, use a "Y"jelly instead but,.for the most part, I would use it for most things.

i think it is good. but aquaphor is better.
