Jesus loves you, I might die. I took it as an insult would you?

I do not know if I would personally take it as an insult....
This one of those things were it is all in the details....
Are you Christian?
Are they a Christian?
How was it said?
Does this person like you?
I mean there are a lot of factors to weigh in....
BUT
If you took it as an insult then it probably came out as a holier than thou, pompous attitude, kind of way.

Jesus loves you and dying is a part of living.
Look at some of those asinine people out there.
Yes, Jesus rode an A S S, so I CAN say this.
I'm sorry if it insulted you, but, again, it takes all kinds to make a world, a some of them are phsycos!

I don't understand. Was the person looking for a handout, sympathy, what? That kind of sentence makes no sense unless they want you to feel bad for them. Yes, it would be an insult to me if the only reason I was being told Jesus loves me is to make me feel bad with the rest of the sentence.
It never ceases to amaze me what people will say and do.

I would take it as an insult. I resent when people automatically assume you believe in Jesus. Religion is a private topic. Tell the moron, we are all going to die, with or without Jesus.

It depends who had said that to me, but when I hear that, I would just brush it off and ignore that comment. Now if they said Jesus loves you and you are going to die, I would kick his butt, then tell that person we are all going to die at one point. I really do not like these so called religious fanatics telling me anything as most of them are so hypocritical, so I brush them off. That was definitely weird for someone to say that to you my friend.. Push him into the snow bank and tell him Jesus loves you, and you are going to freeze.lol

I had a guy follow me around the grocery store preaching to me and he said to me I know where I'm going when I die where are you going? I have known him all my life but he just became real religious and he goes overboard with the preaching.

Sounds like the guy was from the outer limits I would worry about him and not think about too much of what he said he may need medical attention...

sadness is ever present in the world and manifests itself in many ways...do you realize that this usually draws anger and defensive reactions from most people? that alone is sad...
