Time heals all wounds" , so they say, but it is a fact that sometimes, it takes years before one could really forget . It is unfair however to let your present relationship suffer just because of a failed past relationship. Don't lose hope in man's basic goodness. Love wholly and trust fully again. This is the only way that one can experience the true wonders of love.

If you have been cheated on by one person, it does not mean you will cheated on again. Has every person you know got blue eyes ad brown hair - no, we are all different. You must learn to trust in the new relationship and not drag past rubbish into you new life together. Good Luck

Its not possible for me to ever trust that person again after they have cheated. May as well just end the relationship, because there's no point to it any longer once trust has been broken. However, just because one person cheated on me it doesn't make me think anyone else ever will; the fault was with him not with me.

i dont think u eva do fully. Best to keep one step ahead and trust ur gut feelin always. Just remember thou not all men are the same there are some honest ones out there. And a man that does not introduce you to his family after a while is hiding something most of the time. hope this helps. x

Sadly maybe you wont ever trust fully again. You can only try not to compare your next relationship to the one where cheating was involved. I know its difficult to believe but there are some decent souls out there, i suppose its just a rollercoaster ride trying to find one! Good luck!

Forget about the past and move on. It happens a lot, however, if you think about it your entire life and are suspicious about everything the person you are dating is doing, you will loose a potentially nice person just b/c of what some idiot did to you.
Remember the song, "sing, like you don't need the money, LOVE LIKE YOU"VE never been HURT!
True, I dated a great guy and we were engaged but his ex girlfriend cheated on him, so he questioned me about everything, why I was 10 mins late (um..Vegas...traffic), why I pulled around the corner on the other side of the street (Um..listening to a song I liked on the radio), eventually it got so old, I would have cheated on him, b/c he kept accusing me of it, rather I broke it off. Shame really nice guy and gorgeous, but I certainly couldn't take all of his "past".

There is always going to be that lasting thing of 'can i trust them'
but when you feel your ready to start dating again, and you meet some one you really like, watch their movements. dont go over the top, that would be creepy, but think about your ex. Did he come home late? was he distant? Is he distracted by his mobile and never-ending texts from a non confirmable friend? Dont be too trusting, Dont be too oblivious.

i just can't trust easy any more. my heart has been stepped on so hard in the past that i just can't. the only one i can trust are my kids and mom. i don't even trust my brother, even though he has not done anything to me. i have a brick wall around my heart that guards me from all that hurt.

I don't think that I can trust my next relationship because my heart got broken to pieces and I can't repair it anymore. so I can only trust my friends and family.
