Number one find a cause you both belive in and volunter. looks great on resumes after school. Can be very rewarding if done togther as far as interpersonal growth.
Number two compete with each other. Everyone loves a game right well start an exercise program or join a sports team, it's a great way to have fun and keep things tight with friends
Number 3 creative exercise. Try small day trips to interesting places near you to go and do some photography. It gets your place decorated and you would be really surprised what talking over the photos at the end of the day can gain you and the people you will meet.

Go volunteer at an old folks' home and talk to the people there. You'll hear their stories and see their lives, and then you can talk about it afterwards. Go give blood together: it feels good to be a hero for someone you'll never meet. Go find a trashy area and pick up the trash. You'll get a lot out of helping others and it will turn out to be really fun and meaningful, plus you can do it anytime and it's free!

Join the SCA! http://www.sca.org There's plenty of college students on tight budgets there. There may even be a branch at your college.
Otherwise, go for picnics, to art galleries and museums, and keep an eye out in your local newspaper for any free stuff happening.

1. If there is a beach near you, you could do that. Of if you live where there is snow, have fun being a kid again, and go sledding or make snowmen or something lol.
2. If ya'll like reading, go to your local bookstore, and find some books you like and read them in the store. lol
3. Take up some physical activity like biking, or some sport.
4. Have lots of sex, I don't know, that's free and fun lol

Just go out somewhere... like the beach?!
Or you could join a youth group of some sort or go to church every sunday if you really wanted - you'd make lots of friends there =]

a walk in the park or marina, be a little naughty in the cinema (make sure there are no minors and that you are far away from others), visit museums/galleries, do his nails and he can color your hair, give each other massages, dress in silly or goth costumes and walk along the highway, etc. whatever makes you both tick
