Hi all

i have booked my tickets to Gold Coast , Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne next year mid June and yet i have absolutely no idea what to do...

Just heard from friends saying that Australia is a lovely place...and i hope i will leave myself a lovely memory too...

Would any 1 kindly pls suggest some "Must visit places", "Must do things" , "Must eat food" or any kind of mustn't miss stuffs or else i will hate myself for the rest of my life...

Or if you have any itinerary that can be furnished, it would be the most welcome

Further, i would like to check if i can affort to miss Adelaide, as i only have 3 weeks.

Pls help me to make this trip as fun as possible because i am really looking forward

Big thank in advance

June is winter so the further south you go the colder it will get. That being said, Sydney and Melbourne are great cities and there is a lot to do in each. To help you with Sydney, check out What's on in Sydney at http://www.whatsoninsydney.com.au

While Adelaide is a delightful city, you won't have time for it if you are doing Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne in three weeks.

If you are young or like nightlife, then whilst in Brisbane go to Fortitude Valley and check out Family nightclub, great night to be had there, also The Zoo is great for live music and the mall is great with all its little pubs and alfresco dining which is great for people watching.
If you plan to do the backpacker thing I would recommend the Bunk in Fortitude Valley, nice and clean.

You can abseil at Kangaroo Point cliffs, there is a place there called Riverlife that does it and also hires out kayaks for use on the river and bicycles as there is over 400km of bikepaths in Brisbane.

You should also visit Southbank, it has an awesome man-made beach with great free BBQ's and parkland areas, not far from there is the museum which has some awesome displays.

Surfers (which is about 40 minutes from Brisbane is great which other people have said but don't miss out on Brisbane, its great)

Happy travels.

The Blue Mountains about an hour and half drive from Sydney if you like views and the historic stone work also there are loads of national parks that offer guided walks if you like the open air. Of course the opera house and harbour a must for night time the night life is fantastic.
Hope this helps

It really depends on your age, If your a young whipper snapper like me, I'd hit Surfers Pardise near the gold coast...Great beach, Theme parks, Awesome night life....

Sydney, Just do all the tourist things like Climb the sydney harbour bridge, walk to the opera house....Eat in center point tower.....

I haven't been to melbourne since i was like 4, so i can't say much about it...but I heard the casino there is awesome...

Everyone has given you good advice.
My top tip for the Gold Coast is:
The Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.
You'll love it there.
Australia Zoo is worth a trip too.
How to get there is on their website.
Have a wonderful hoilday.

When you come up to Brisbane, and if you like to climb mountains, without ropes, it's safe, checkout the Glasshouse mountains, i will take you up a couple of them if you want, you will love it if you like that sort of stuff, and just up the road is, Australia Zoo.
