Add more protein and limit high starch foods should make the meal last longer.

Remember every time your body tells you you are hungry you may not actually be hungry. Hunger is a primal urge. Sometimes hunger and thirst get mixed up. Try drinking a glass of water the next time you think you are hungry. If that doesn't help eat a meal. But also analyze your eating habits. Certain foods make you hungrier quicker. White Rice, High Fructose Corn Syrups and other empty carbs can trick your body into thinking is hungry earlier than it really is.

Moreover, perhaps you aren't eating enough or at right intervals. Fill up on Fiber at your first three meals of the day. I call this the Oatmeal, Whole Grain Bread Salad Rule. Then see how hungry you are the rest of the day. Again Blood Sugar level swings can trick you into thinking your hungry when you aren't

Quitting smoking makes food taste better. If you get hungry two hours after eating a meal, you should break your meals into smaller meals and eat five to six a day. Also, you're probably not eating enough fats or fiber, so food goes through quickly. Try adding about two teaspoons of fat per day to your meals, perhaps through salad dressing or cooking in olive oil. Also try adding fiber through whole grains. That should help you feel full longer.

try eating 6 times a day, but smaller portions. Like breakfast, then a hard boiled egg between breakfast and lunch, then lunch. Then a smoothie between lunch and dinner, then dinner and then a banana after dinner, but don't eat 3 hours before you normally go to bed...

Eat healthily and watch what kind of carbs you eat. Good carbs like porridge or wholegrain stuff will break down more slowly leaving you less hungry.
