It will be hard to lose a lot of weight in 2 weeks and it wouldn't be healthy for you. Just start maintaining a healthy diet and exercise when your back feels better. In the long run it will be better for you and it will be easier for you to keep the weight off.
Don't worry about your weight and meeting your bf's family. Your much harder on yourself than they will be and they aren't going to be noticing your love handles and thighs. If they really bother you, just wear an outfit that isn't too tight on your stomach and looser pants. If your bf likes you his family will too and they won't be concerned about your weight..

Start Japanese or Tibet's diet for 2 weeks. If you are happy with the results and want to continue after two weeks you must change the diet. This is the secret.
And if you have pains simply walk - at least 5 km per day.
If you would like to eat something "forbidden" - drink a glass of water.

However, my dear, your charm and smile and the way you behave with him are much important for your bf family . Some pounds plus cannot be a problem for any parents!
Merry Christmas!

You don't need to lose weight. If your bf loves you, he loves you the way you are. His family won't care, either. Don't obsess about your weight. Instead, start looking for a small housegift if you are going to their house, and brush up on your table manners if you think they are more formal than your family. Or, you can read the newspaper and keep up on the news so you have something to talk about, or you can ask your bf for memories of his family. Also, for pain management, you should see a doctor or a chiropractor and deal with it.

I don't understand why you want to lose some inches before you meet your bf's friends and family. But, You can probably lose some of them by talking a walk half hour a day.

You shouldn't be worried about what you look like when your meeting your bfs family. You should be worried about how you should present yourself to them and be confident in who you are.
But...I'm sure thats not the answer you were looking for so I suggest you cut down on the calories and work out. You can pick up some work out DvDs at the store and work out at home. It's what I prefer anyway. The DvDs average about 10 bucks, so its not too expensive and you get great results because they were made by professionals.
-hope I helped && good luck.

Listen, speaking as a guy, if your boyfriend wants to introduce you to his family and friends, he thinks you are beautiful just to way you are. If you want to make a good impression, smile, be pleasant, laugh. But don't go crazy and try to lose weight in 15 days, you are only going to make yourself miserable.
This is a cause to be joyous.

I agree with the bike thing, just make sure it is properly adjusted. The other thing you can try is swimming - it's very easy on all the joints.
As for food, do not stop eating, just make sure you are eating healthy. Putting your body into starvation mode will only make it worse once you start eating more again.

i wouldn't waste a minute of your life losing weight because you're worried what your bfs family thinks. if he loves you, they will too.
besides, if my math is correct, that's new years eve. go, be yourself, have a blast. they'll probably be doing the same weather or not you lose the desired inches.
