If a person lacks someone whom he/she wanted there, then the whole world is like a lonely home for him/her.
When a person whom he/she wants is beside him/her, then no matter nothing else is there, he/she 'll be happy thinking he/she has the whole world beside him/her.

i think people feel alone because of these reasons
1:they hate the people they are with
2: they have done something wrong and don't know how to admit it. then they start feeling alone and lost
3:when they feel that all the people they are with hate them
4: they want to be left alone for some college exam or something and when everyone feels almost hurt they just start feeling alone and hate themselves for a short time period.

Sorry, not everybody is there with them. We are still individuals first. We are not a bee hive or a drone where we are all instantly connected. One connects when they find they have something in common with someone else. And believe it or not, everyone may breathe the same air but lead different lives all the time.

Because of a lack of connection. Its possible to be among a room full of people you know but feel like no one is there for you. Sometimes you feel crowded and yet unfulfilled. Got to find the right someone to be with!

It has to do with love or problems that they are having. I have experienced it becoz of love. Its not a nice feeling to be away from the one you love. To get over that feeling, at times you just take off

They are not physically alone...They are mentally alone. Either no one understands them the way that they want them to, or they don't feel like anyone that is with them cares.

b/c you have to love yourself and enjoy yourself in order to feel that way about others. it's cliche i know, but true, believe me, i know. it's a mind thing. change the way you look at yourself and automatically, what others do or say won't affect you to the point that you can care less if they are there for you or not!

you have free will. you have to make a choice to smile, be happy, communicate, etc ;-)
