i think of that Christians, in the event that they take the Bible actually, could harden to hearts to unhappy circumstances like that. They demonize the suicide sufferer so as that they're going to sense much less sadness over the reality the God they invented might deliver that comparable poor individual to go through in hell for an eternity. i think of that calloused mindset is out of place for the duration of such situations of tragedy, and in the event that they don't have something extreme-high quality to assert, they shouldn't say something in any respect. I definitely have additionally lost a pal to suicide so i think undesirable for absolutely everyone dealing with this style of disaster. faith is the final concern a individual desires at a time like that.

Trust me in this one. If you really want to find God, You can't depend on other people with other RELIGIONS. Religion being the key word, If you look here you are mostly going to find Fundamentalist who believe that 1/3 of the population of Earth is going to hell and arrogant Atheists who believe they have the Universe all deciphered. It really doesn't matter where do you think God is be it in the Muslim faith, Jewish Faith, Christian Faith or what ever, You must always remember that WHAT FAITH YOU CHOOSE DOESN'T MATTER TO GOD WHAT MATTERS IS YOUR ACTIONS AND SOUL DETERMINE WHERE YOU ARE GOING. Like The poet Ricardo Arjona said Jesus is a Verb not a Noun

It's not surprising that you haven't found G-d online.
Do not limit yourself to Christianity unless you feel drawn in that direction. Explore different religious traditions. Not just in books, but by joining people in their worship. Learn to meditate, and spend time in a natural setting. Certainly you can find G-d in people too, but it should be a direct encounter, rather than an online exchange of opinions.
Open yourself to experience, and then wait patiently. You may or may not find what you are looking for, but something good is bound to happen.

Maybe the god you are looking for is not the God Christians believe in so you'll never find that god you are looking for in Christianity. Many people have an idea of what God should be so when they are introduced to the God of the Bible and don't see what they want to see or disagree with His views, they start to see it as ridiculous. If that is the case for you ZILLA, then I'm sorry.

I'm afraid you are more or less on your own in finding G-d. You can join a church first, of course, and hear what they have to say (try everything!) or you can explore your own ideas first and then compare them to any information you can get your hands on. If it's G-d you're looking for, you can go for Judaism, or then Catholicism, Episcopalian (Anglicans), or Lutherans. Then came Islam. If they don't suit, there's the Anabaptist sects that are a bit more modern, or there's Mormons, there's Amish, there's Mennonite (similar to Amish) and, of course Scientology. Only they believe in Xenu, and I'm not sure they think of him as a god.

you need to get a godometer. make sure it's set for the type of god you like, tho. i know a guy who had the dial off by half a click, and now he's a cult leader. last i saw of him, he was at the warehouse club buying economy size d-con.

This isn't a church. You might try one if you're looking for God. You don't have to worry about running into any preachy Christians at a church - they're busy, out bothering people who AREN'T interested in joining their religion.

Ask those Atheist here, if you don't believe me.

It is funny how they claim we're here to find God. I would definitely go somewhere else to "find God".
