I was in a MVA. I have really really tight muscles and have a hard time doing what I used to do. I have had to quit my job and take a stay at home job. I have been seeing an acupunctureist 3 times a week for 6 months. I do not feel any better. I did PT for the first 3 months and have had the same results, nothing. Is there anything else I can do? The MRI was negative, and the x-rays of the spine show nothing wrong. Please do not refer me to other doctors. I have already been to two. I just want to know medically if there is anything else that can be done?

MVA car accident, the MRI is normal, x-rays are normal, but I assume you are still in pain? Tight muscles, need muscle relaxants, inflammation needs anti-inflammatory drugs, several different forms of pain, could be neuropathic, where the nerves literally misfire for no known reason and their are drugs for that. So yes reckon once you have ruled out bone, soft tissue and nerve damage, you are looking at soft tissue, inflammation, neuropathic pain.
