It is a SCAM.

Never send money in order to secure a loan. The money and the lender will disappear.

It's amazing that the first answer you got to asking if the loan is a scam is another scam loan....

ANY time you are asked for money up front for a loan it is a SCAM. The only thing that will happen is that you will send the money and never see your money or the loan.

Other things to look for is if they are using a free e-mail address such as @gmail.com @hotmail.com or @yahoo.com they are a scam. A legitimate company will not need to use a free e-mail address.

Also, if they have to tell you that they are "legitimate" and "reputable" they are probably not.
