fire and ice, heaven and hell, this woman is stuck in a passionate, chaotic limbo...her body is beautiful and ideal and yet she is crouched, gripping her skin in order to hide her breasts. her facial expression suggests sexual arousal yet we can't see whether her hand is hiding or grasping what is between her legs. her legs are attatched to the cold, hard, earth (suggests lack of movement) while the hot, vibrant sky is pulling at her...she is torn.

I guess I see it as a kind of awakening or rebirth. The lightning is electric, a life force coming forth from the sky, arousing sleeping beauty. We come into life naked, bare and unblemished, clean and unsoiled by life. The newly born have nothing to hide or to be ashamed of. The sky is crying Awake! Awake! sweet damsel. Arouse yourself from your endless sleep. It is time for you to become who you really are. You have only to unfold in the endless journey of eternal life and love. The everchanging archetypes call for you to cast away all rigidity of form and to move to the cosmic music of the song of life.

kind of reminds me of a local artists work titled "journey"...'twas a photocallage of her and other images layer'd and somewhat dark and mysterious...
i see another image that could be titled "journey" it has the same feel and hope as the local image.

Sacrificial...she places herself high up on a rock, and out in danger in a lightening storm...She is baring it all, almost like she is saying,...I am sacrificing myself, stripped bare of all inhibitions, and humbling myself, to sacrifice myself, and give myself to you..
