No tea will ever get you as wired as coffee, unless you drink about 10 cups of Black Tea. Teas just do not contain as much caffeine as coffee. Sorry!

Tea does not contain as much caffeine as coffee.

8 oz. black tea = 45 mg caffeine
8 oz. black coffee = 60-120 mg caffeine
12 oz Coke = 34 mg caffeine
12 oz Pepsi = 38 mg caffeine
Double espresso (2 oz.)= 45-100 mg caffeine

Note: espresso has less caffeine than regular coffee.
