Some of my coworkers are not part of a religion that celebrates Christmas, is it appropriate to give them a card at Christmas time? I don't want to leave them out, but I don't want to offend.

If you're really concerned about it use one that says something like "Happy Holidays".

I cant speak for all of us, but personally me and my friends take no offence to the word "Christmas" presented to us. Its the term used around this time.

We do get a little annoyed when mention of Christianity pops up. Like the story of how Jesus was born. So if it refers to Jesus or God, I'd still appreciate the thought, but dislike the card.

I dont know your work situation, but if it doesnt sound imposing you could ask them if they celebrate Christmas or another holiday. After knowing what they celebrate you could pick out or make a custom card around it. This would be really special to them in my opinion.

Good luck and Merry Christmas.

It isn't really appropriate to give them Christmas cards if they don't celebrate Christmas, but I doubt they'd be offended. If you know what they celebrate, feel free to give them a card celebrating it, or nothing at all. That won't likely bother them either. Two of my coworkers and one of my friends are Jewish, and I give them Hanukkah cards and they give me Christmas cards every year. It's not a big deal.

Give them a "Happy Holidays" or "Happy New Year" card. I don't think much about it...I sent a Christmas card to my Jewish friend. She loved it cause it was a family picture one.

Yes, it's appropriate. The card should not say anything about a specific religion, though.

Give them a card, but do a generic one like "Happy Holidays"

It can be seasons greetings! The thought does count!
