I don't think so. I think they are Atheist because the do not believe in the existence of a deity. Of course, their analytical minds probably led them toward Atheism. ;)

i'd warn them that willful morons such as you're telling LIES approximately them. thank you for the extra data that faith = undesirable morals. -On 22 March 1954 Einstein won a letter from J. Dispentiere, an Italian immigrant who had worked as an experimental machinist in New Jersey. Dispentiere had declared himself an atheist and became into despaired by using a information record which had solid Einstein as conventionally religious. Einstein replied on 24 March 1954: It became into, of direction, a lie what you examine my religious convictions, a lie this is being systematically repeated. i don't think in a private God and that i've got in no way denied this yet have expressed it needless to say. If some thing is in me which could be noted as religious then it incredibly is the unbounded admiration for the form of the international as far as our technology can exhibit it.[8]-

That's not true, where did you get this lie. There have been many christian scientists. For example Einstein,Newton and even Darwin turned to Christianity at the last ten years of his life.Darwin went into Universities and tried to convince people of God's existence.I don't know where you get this from. The most brilliant minds in science always acknowledged God existence.

When you can find all your answers from one book and think you have all the answers, you do not need to do any research. Scientists look for answers that are not in any books. They are less likely to accept answers without proof. They have the attitude of an atheist.

Trina: That's like saying you think some men are bachelors because they don't have wives. No kidding?
Statistically speaking, the more education a person has, the more likely they are to be atheists. Since most scientists have a lot of higher education, it makes sense.

They are so brilliant because they systematically observe their environments to obtain a realistic understanding of their existence. I think their faith is a reflection of the knowledge gained by the scientific community.

Your reasoning makes sense.
Sparkle: Einstein and Hawking are Pantheists; and as Charles Dawkin put it, Pantheism is just "sexed-up atheism". In your quote, Hawking wasnt referring to a supernatural god, but rather, he was using god as a metaphor for the laws of the universe.

yes.
and even if you forget scientists, its no mistake that if you take the average level of education of the population youre going to end up with the highest percentage of atheists.
on the other hand, places with extremly low levels of education, atheism is almost non existant.
