What has it got to do with religion.
Americans are diverse people of free will. They are a educated democratic society. They act like a civilized society. They have differences among themselves on various issues. Gun's is an internal issue for the Americans. The 2nd amendment does give them the right to bear arms. It is a legal to posses gun in most of the places in USA.
Having given you all these information, what is it to you? And why are you posting this in Yahoo India R&S.

My faith, of COURSE, is in God, dear one. But I also have a license to carry a concealed weapon. An armed society is a polite society.

MY deity advises not to stray far from one's sword - we'll update that to one's gun. I'm a former US Marine Corps vet - I trust in my weapon and my skills. My deity would expect nothing less and probably be pissed if I didn't.

God until they get scared.....then it's the gun. When the threat is neutralized......back to God. Rinse and Repeat. One could call it hypocrisy if one was inclined to call things as they are.

ima always go wit god forever. if somebody put a gun up to my head and and asked me do hey believe in god and they say if i was yes they will shoot but if i say no they will give me the gun to shoot them. im still gonna go with god and say yes and if die when they shoot ima die with dignity and pride. best of all ima be in his arms now. so god always and forever
