I know it since I was a Protestant and I couldn't help but doubt the bible, the priests, the religion, and God...all the time while forcing myself to believe.

What makes you doubt your religion or bible or...God? Why?

Yes, I've doubt the Bible and God and left when those doubts and questions weren't answered.

I don't doubt my religion - I do doubt some of the myths. I don't really believe in any creation myth. I believe those were just stories to explain to children how things came about and mankind was fool enough to begin believing them.

As for why I doubted the Bible and God - the list is long: a loving god that didn't seem loving when ordering the tribes to kill entire regions of non-Jews so the Jews could steal the land * a just god that didn't zap Abram for pimping out his wife and instead rewarded him * a god that "loved" everyone so much to put his son through one of the most painful deaths ever invented by man * the "son" that was also "the father" * Revelations (sounds like a bad LSD trip) * who did Cain marry and why did he need a mark to protect him * and on and on

oh yes of course, my religion because religion is man made and any thing that is man made as far as God is concerned I doubt, and the bible sometimes maybe and when I start doubting the bible I find myself praying and asking questions but I'm thinking that might be only human because that is the way God created us ,I'm also thinking that the more we question the more we learn and the more we learn means a better relationship we have with Christ .

Actually now that I think of it, I have doubted the catholic church. Personally, I feel that sometimes their "traditions" are hyprocritical and oftentimes straying from the truth--Scripture. And I must say that your list is very untrue and highly offensive. Just because you were unsure of your faith do not try and dissaude us who are certain of our faiths. If you were ever questioning your faith or God for that matter, maybe your faith was never really strong to begin with.

certainly, I *do* think of approximately my faith. What i've got come to attain is that i come across that I frequently doubt myself and not God. I each in particular circumstances ponder whether i'm extremely dwelling with Christ in my on a daily basis existence as much as i could or could. Then, I exceptionally lots come to peace with the reality that i'm human...and being human, i'm frequently tempted. i've got discovered that I could in simple terms positioned my faith and have faith interior the affection and mercy of the single real God. i've got additionally discovered to concentration on what's substantial and to attain that very lots of the "different stuff" extremely isn't substantial. to illustrate, the place we got here from (evolution vs advent vs regardless of) is NOWHERE close to as substantial as the place we are going (what occurs to the eternal soul). I additionally understand that i'm not now, and in all probability will never be, a biblical pupil. i don't have all the solutions. purely an extremely small share of them. yet, I *do* have my faith...and that's incredibly what's substantial. it incredibly is all approximately putting issues interior the the terrific option attitude.

Of course. It is the essence of science to doubt everything; any scientist is constantly on the lookout for something that will show his current views to be wrong (and justify a paper on the subject). One of the things that most irritates me about theists is that they do such a lousy job of this.

Yes. And a person who does doubt what they have faith in will do one of two things, learn from the experience and grow, or fizzle out like you did. You know, drift away because of being too lazy or too scared to look into things from a scholarly point of view.

So how's it feel?

Well my my! Aren't YOU just full of your own answers, dear one! Too bad you aren't able to see anyone else's viewpoint other than your own, limited one.

Almighty God is the Giver of faith. Once He gives it, He doesn't take it back. So no, I never have doubted Him. And I am not "religious."

God bless!

the first bible was written about 160 years after the death of Jesus .so it can not be literally the word of god.

Doubt can only make one wiser. Therefore all wise people have doubted their thinking once or twice.

The world calls to us. Temptation is too much for weak Christians. We need to become more devoted, praying and fasting regularly, especially in these last days.
