I'm using a friend's acc, and I'm a sister.
So I'm the older kid. My little brother is a complete asshole. I get the 4.0s. He gets the 2.0s. I can't relate with my parents. They're always telling me I don't have a ******* future if I don't get 4.0s like all asian parents. They absolutely adore him cuz he's a motherfuckin guy. I'm a rower, tall, etc. so nobody really messes with me. He's always getting beat up at school and nobody likes him. Know why? Everybody says he's an asshole. I don't get why the hell my parents even like him. They always get him what he wants. The **** is wrong with this picture?

Your brother is the pig-headed underachiever and underdog.
Your parents are going to stick up for him... ultimately that is doing him a disservice by not encouraging him to perform.
My parents did the same thing with my brother up until all the girls moved out of their house leaving only him... they finally had to start dealing with him. They had to kick his freeloading fanny out of the house several times to get the message across.
All you can do is do your best. Get through school, get your degrees, get a career, get all those other hallmarks of success. Don't hold onto this chagrin. Just move on.

I can feel your frustration. I am so sorry for you. It looks like it is a culture thing. If that is the case then you probably don't have much of a choice in the matter right now. When you get older you can raise your family your way. You can teach your children that they all deserve love and respect whether they are girls or boys. I know it is tough right now. Maybe if you talk to a counselor, it can help you get through this difficult time.

asian you say? i'm japanese and the males are usually favoured. they carry the name after all. and uh, thanks peachy for slamming our culture. i suppose anyone different than you gets the moniker
