If she's adopted then she really is her own..... But she's a teenager and they are moody, mouthy and a major pain in the patooty - that's their job. Stay away from the situation the best you can. If she starts getting hypercritical (spelling?) - walk away - rise above it and don't show that it bothers you. Point out the immaturity of teenagers and laugh it off. I had a friend tell me once - the one who angers you, controls you -. The more I thought about it the more it made sense - laugh it off and walk away.

First of all even though she is adopted she is your mother-in-laws real child. You seem to resent her. Have you ever taken the time to sit down and have a nice conversation with her or tried to become friends. If not, make an effort. You may be surprised. Remember this girl is only 17. Her thinking is different than yours.

All you can really do is distance yourself from the situation. Failing that, you can call the brat down on the carpet the next time she says something to you.

Your MIL is going to look after her family... she probably does not consider you part of her family as yet. Don't expect the MIL to intercede on your behalf... she is too busy looking after the underdog.

You and your husband can swoop by and pick your MIL up and take her to dinner, but you don't have to spend any time at her house or in the company of the SIL.

Make sure you have your husband on the same page.

even no remember if it extremely is considered nevertheless criminal, i'd be damned if i enable my little 13 12 months old sister get into something severe with a 17 12 months old. 13 continues to be so youthful.. 17 is already tainted with innovations and lusts and needs to objective issues out. think of approximately that. once you're a being concerned sibling, do not enable your sister be forced into immoral issues way too early in existence. She needs to adventure existence extra before settling down with all of us in a relationship. in line with threat shes not in touch in adequate stuff and desires extra to maintain her occupied. I have not any subject with the gender concern yet out of all the questions I even have ever replied on yahoo this one in simple terms sends off this sort of terrible potential vibe, i myself don't experience like your sister is in a secure place.
