I am tired all of the time (but I am also a senior in highschool and sleep is limited) I gained 10lbs after starting the Birthcontrol pill about 6 months ago and my eating habits haven't really changed. I am 5'7 and around 135.

I have hypothyroidism, it basically means your thyroid gland, which is the gland that helps burn fat, doesn't burn it fast enough, medication usually helps a sluggish thyroid, but you will have to take it for the rest of your life if diagnosed, and have a check up every couple of years to make sure your thyroid medication is still working. and contrary to the post above me it doesn't result in rapid weight loss, if you have a hypothyroid, you're usually a bit over weight.

Do you feel tired a lot and seem to gain weight even though you don't eat that much food?
