I keep seeing this complaint - "you say we're going to burn in Hell" - show up in "answers" around here. I've seen it, but usually from trolls. So - simple question. Have you ever in your life said that to anyone else for any reason whatsoever?

I'm sure others will chime in here, and please feel free. If you're about to tell me about how many times that's been said to you, do me a favor - link to just one. If it's as rampant as you claim, that should be easy.

Earl - please, feel free to post a link. I'm sure you're right, and I'd love to see it.

I have never in my life said this to anyone. A more arrogant statement could not be made. In order to make this statement I would need to shove God off the throne and jump up on it and take his place as the Righteous Judge.

As this can't be done, no human is qualified to make this statement.

This said, I have seen some who use the name "Christian" say this and I do rebuke them. If they do not respond to scripture they are not followers of the Lord.

I have been a believer for over 16 years, never have I said it nor written it to anyone. I know salvation is of God, and He will save His elect. I do not know who His elect are, so for me to assume that someone is going to Hell is wrong. I am sure many 1st Century Christians thought Saul of Tarsus was on the road to Hell.

I have been a christian for 37 years and I told one person, may God have mercy on your soul.

It is not a Christians job to judge God's word is the judge we as Christians must let people know what God's word says on matters like sexual immorality and other sin.

Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

hellooo
i'm am a baby christian so yeah i'm still wondering about those things too. there are radical christians today still that say that. i went on www.jesus-is-savior.com... you may get the idea

the bible tells us to speak God's word to others. the bible says that we will burn in hell due to our sins... but the good thing is that Jesus paid the penalty for our sins already

its is commonly ignorant for us to ignore those facts, and very harmful if we don't let others know that. some people don't get that, so i can see why christians in movies can be labeled as yelling such obsurdities.

but in the gist, its jesus or hell, and everyone has a choice whether they know it or not. so its just better to know right? <3

Although I am a Christian, I can honestly say I would never say that. What good does it do to hurl insults or threats?
Actually, I've never majored on the subject of hell. And I don't love God because of a fear of hellfire. I love Him because He loves me. And because Jesus loves me and died to give me eternal life.

I've said it only on a few occasions in my life when someone really got on my nerves/was really mean to me. Of course I don't actually mean it, since I don't believe in eternal hell. I've had it said to me by supposedly loving and compassionate Christians who actually do believe in such a place, and don't seem to mind nor care if people actually go there or not.

No need to even link to another question C.L. Richardson said it about 4 answers in. He did however rephrase it and then absolve himself of credit by claiming that his God said it first.

No, I do not recall ever saying that to anyone. There is a better way to present the gift of Jesus than spouting, "You are gonna burn in hell!!"

I don't believe I have. Unless my memory is faulty, (when you answer hundreds of questions in a day, its hard to remember all your answers.)

I have told people that the only way to Heaven was Jesus, and that Jesus died so we wouldn't have to punished for our own sin.

How is this:

"ALL* Atheists Are Liars, Cowards & Murderers , prove me wrong!, you can't can you?
This is because Anti-Christian Atheism is an egregiously
bigoted, intolerant, and draconian *religion*, which was
ESTABLISHED as America's official State religion in 1947,
by decision of the USSC. That is irrefutable, and deadly.

Ever since then, Anti-Christian Atheists in America were
no longer forced to defend their oppressive beliefs that
there is no God, or Gods, but much rather the God-hating
Atheists were given carte blanche to impose by the FORCE
of the Atheist-controlled courts, and law-enforcement to
force the world's ugliest and most vile religion i.e. of
Anti-Christian Liberal Atheism down America's collective
throats, in America's classrooms, courtrooms and through-
out federal, state, city and local government in general.

That's why I correctly, righteously, accurately, EXACTLY
state that the only good Atheist is a dead Atheist. Ergo
all Non-Atheists should in all cases oppose the Atheists
across-the-board, and with extreme prejudice, and lethal
force when and where necessary--though I do not advocate
breaking the law of the land in any case. Much rather, I
do encourage all Non-Atheists to ALWAYS boycott Atheists
and radical left-wing Liberals across-the-board, i.e. to
*NEVER* hire them for a job, never do business with them,
never talk to them or negotiate with them, or screw them
over ROYALLY "if you must" do business with Atheists etc.
That's because all Atheists are Anti-Christian criminals.

All Atheists are nothing but Liars, Cowards, & Murderers.
Were an Atheist ever to be nominated for President, that
worthless piece of Rabidly-insane filthy inhuman GARBAGE
would most definitely NOT pass go, NOT collect its "$200"
and be sent directly to Hell which is where all Atheists
incarnate from where they live all their miserable lives,
and where they return once their rotting corpse, ashes &
bone chips or whatever dust remains of their meaningless,
worthless and utterly useless lives gives up their ghost,
which collectively haunts the darkest, most God-forsaken
realms among the nine infinite & eternal circles of HELL.

But that's just my humble, loving, Christian opinion.
