Because, US is the invader!

And since you've already made up your mind, no answer will be satisfactory to you!

ADD1: I've never seen so many crack heads at one place with so laughable responses!!

ADD2: most of you....., are so filled with racism and hatred ( typical American cons!!) that surly would do worse than cut one's head off, if you blood thirsty warmongers capture one of those people who're doing nothing but defending themselves and US's moronic unjust invasion!

SO, spare the big BS crap and find the way to resurrect yourselves!!

Cutting off the heads of Americans is bad. Torturing prisoners is bad - and against the Geneva Convention. It's bad because we are supposed to be a society that values human rights. If we behave in the same disgusting way they do, we are just as savage as we accuse them of being. And we are then no better than they are.

as a student of history, and being old, i have watched the events unfold in American since the end of WWII and how the socialist agenda has taken gripe on America and made it fashionable to 'hate' anything or anyone America. they tried to instill shame for being proud of America or how we help feed the world and try to take care of everyone. we gained nothing from WWII but freedom for others and now it is in jeopardy from within. a civilization cannot be defeated without until they are defeated within.

reading some of the responses make me realize only more that it is already happening here.

i still am proud to be an american and proud of the majority of my country who still have a say but fear for the day when we are no longer the majority. we have been silent too long.

To be politically correct, as a soldier you're held to the highest of standards to ensure that your weapon use reflects the core values you are taught from day 1. Terrorists on the other hand, have values that are more geared towards destruction of anyone and anything that doesn't align with their views.

Putting politics aside, if you acted like a terrorist acts, then how would the world be able to distinguish your actions from what we view as a terrorist? You can't say because you're wearing a uniform, because we both know that those aren't hard to acquire.

So you see...it's really all about appearances. The media is geared so that terrorism is shown at its extreme. I'm sure you realize that not all terrorists cut off the heads of their prisoners. That doesn't justify what they're doing, but you running around with guns a-blazin' wouldn't APPEAR any different to the average CNN-watcher than a terrorist, even if you had the best of intentions.

Because it's a political B.S. The media is turned against the war so therefore it's against the troops. The media hides all the good the troops do & makes a big deal out of any bad things that happen. Realize this one undeniable fact that will always be; the media is not around to tell you the news, their around to tell you news they think you want to hear so will keep watching them. They do it for ratings as much as American Idol does. They make any story that's B.S. something as long as they know the public will want more of it. Also, they are all politically biased to a party, either democrat or republican. There is no neutral party news in this country. You can watch the same news story on FOX & then on CNN & they will show the same exact footage but somehow you will get two opposite stories. Its just the way the news it, its pretty much useless for the truth.

This is the dumbest question I've ever heard. Since when is shooting enemy combatants not encouraged, if not required?

Now shooting innocents or random people, that'd be a different story.

The terrorists don't give a rodents hindquarters about political correctness or human life for that matter. And we as a society don't want to hurt peoples feelings.

Well, that brought the sedition crowd out in force! How these imbecilic, ungrateful, enemy sympathizers evolve is beyond me. I honestly believe, at the root of their obvious hate of this country and all it stands for, which they systemically parasitize, lurks an ingrained hate of all that is, a pathological self hate projected upon the hand that feeds them. Perhaps an unfortunate incident in their childhood..."Mommy didn't love me...Daddy did those things to Mommy behind closed doors"...Who knows...An unnatural hate of perceived authority in all forms. It wouldn't matter what was occurring locally, nationally or worldwide they would piss, moan and berate.
