I remember the feeling. It goes away.

Take as much down time to readjust as you can afford. Aside from what RTO mentioned there should be a Veteran person at the unemployment office. Don't be afraid to seek help on how to seek work. We are not born with sales skills, they are learned. Don't be afraid to work part time to get thru school if you want to go, you should have learned that no job is beneath you by now.. The Reserve is a good money maker for students and can be good for contacts that lead to work. Brothers and Sisters helping each other so to speak.

Good Luck

you should have started your job hunting 6-9 months out. there are MANDATORY transition classes you should have already attended.

If you chose not to do your homework, that's not the military's problem.

Go to ACAP -- get your resume in order.

Go to the ed center and get your military experience credits in order.

Relax. Civilian life is rather mellow, nothing to be scared about.

Thanks for serving.

Why? You are so much more likely to be hired by someone now that you have service time. Good luck..thanks for your time in the service.

Has no one pointed you at the Transition Office? You need to go make an appointment. Good info at the link below.

Afraid of leaving the military? That's a new one.

Where are all the liberals who keep telling us that military members don't want to be in the military?

Let us know what your situation is. Lot's of us are former or current active duty. We'd be happy to help.
