Last week I went to my primary doctor because I was having a lot of pain in my right side and trouble breathing. They did a chest xray and found a spot which they were concerned might be a blood clot. I was sent to the ER for CT scans. They scanned both my abdomen (in case kidney stones were causing some of the pain) and my lungs. I was told I had pneumonia and a UTI/bladder infection (which caused my fever, a high white blood cell count, and blood in my urine supposedly). I was sent home with antibiotics. I still have some pain in my back, but I'm feeling better. I just received a voicemail today from a follow up nurse in the ER saying that I need to contact her as soon as possible to discuss some "addtional results" that came back from my CT scans. Unfortunately they aren't in until Monday and I am scared out of my mind. Can anyone tell me what are some of the things it could be? Wouldn't anything serious have shown up on first review?

Don't make things worst for yourself by asking what we think it could be. You will get some very scary answers and you don't need that. Wait until Monday morning , go in and think postive thoughts until you get there. God Bless You.

In this particular case, I don't think you should trust the amateurs who post here and even a professional diagnosis ove r the internet would be like a horoscope. Don't speculate, wait until Monday.. I hope it's nothing. May you live long and be well!
