I just Got my ps3 a few days ago. How do i make sure i'm charging it correctly? i plugged it into my consoles usb port and the four lights on the controller are flashing does this mean i'm charging it correctly?

Yes, when the PS3 controller lights are flashing that means that it's charging. When they stop flashing that means that it's done charging.

if you plug the controller into the ps3, the lights on the controller should be flashing, if your not entirely sure if it is charging, when your turn your ps3 on, on the main menu part, you can go to controllers and see the life of the controller.

yeah thats right when they stop flashing then its done....
make sure that the batter icon has 0 or 1 bar left before charging...
