Look I'm in my mid twenties. The love of my life is two states away.
I have to see him. It has been 3 months. Long story how I got out here. I have no friends or family here. My family lives half way across the country. I am dying to see my soulmate. He is dying to see me. I do not have a vehicle right now, because it is states away at my dads and I am letting him use it for work, since he is real hard up right now.
My question: How with no vehicle, only a couple hundred bucks. Do I get there?
I can't take the bus or train, because there is no way that I will leave my dog behind.
I can wait no longer, I have to see my love.
What would you do? If I wait one more month,I will have my truck back and my license back and can drive up. However, it has already been nearly 4 months. I can wait no longer.
Should I hitchhike? How safe during the holidays is that-for a woman to do?

Ok, here's a couple options:
if its already been 4 months, maybe just wait one more month til you get the truck back and go see him then, much less stress that way
OR...consider boarding your dog, i know in my area you can board a dog for approx $10 per day, then take the bus to see the boyfriend...
*BEST OPTION*: MAKE THE BOYFRIEND COME SEE YOU AND LET HIM FIGURE OUT THE DETAILS!
Oh yeah...please dont hitchhike! This is very unsafe, and if your boyfriend is any kind of MAN, he would not allow you to put yourself in such danger, just to see him.....think about it!

You are taking a real chance to hitchhike. Why risk getting raped or killed, just when you can wait one more month? How do you think your BF will feel if that happens?
Can you see if there is someone who is going in that direction you can share a ride with? Like craigslist?

Look, you can either take your dog and risk getting yourself killed or raped, find somebody to dogsit and take the bus, or wait.
I haven't seen my boyfriend since July - I know how you feel - but one month really isn't that much longer to wait.

take the bus, they have buses that take you to every state.
