I personally love short hair on a woman when cut right. However, everyone is going to react differently to it.
If you've never had short hair, maybe you should try it. If you like how it looks and how it adds to your personality than keep it that way. If not, it will always grow back.

I keep my hair shoulder length in winter (easier to style it) and long in the summer (ponytail is the way to go). Rush to the beach anytime I want not worry how to style my hair.
Btw... my hair is thick and wavy. I blow dry with blower to straight it when it is short. Lots of work, yep!
