USE 1080i with a 1080P TV set.....

The native resolution on your TV set is 1080....so using 720 will NOT give you the HIGHEST LEVEL OF DETAIL that your TV set can do......

SET EVERYTHING TO 1080.....

Then watch Discovery HD Theater for the HIGHEST quality of 1080 picture that was ever recorded.....
I think the LOGO on the Guide is HDTH or HDT on some boxes.....

The commercials are eye-popping....and that tells you THEY are COMMITTED to HD....

1080i. It's supported natively by your TV. If you watch 720p, it has to be converted first.
