Guys... why is everything a game??

I told this guy that I liked him, and he seemed ok with it. We laughed and talked and he was acting really flirty, messing with my computer; taking my pencil/book/papers; etc. so anyway, we'll usually have mini conversations during the few classes we have together. One of the most recent being "Hey isnt this game great?" I replied, "No, I hate this game" and he says, "I know me too" and such. then in a writing class we played another game where we were versing each other and we were making fun of each other's answers and stuff like that. That night we had a dance and we talked a little and he made fun of me because i brought my iPod because the music they play there always sucks. Now, my question is why will he go days without talking to me? why does he all the sudden decide to back away just when we're getting close? It's always two steps forward, one step back, literally. what can i do?

Again with the toughies gal! Maybe he likes you but not as much as you like him. Or maybe he's playing the same game with more than one gal. If'n I was a gal I don't believe I'd pursue a guy who only wants to get together on his terms and time table. As far as backing away when it seems you're getting closer? Well maybe he's afraid of getting close. Don't know what to advise except that you may want to take a real close look at this relationship and decide whether you want to continue to pursue some one who doesn't feel the same way. I'd be willing to bet that there are guys in your school who would love to get together with you.

Sounds like you wish he was serious but he's not. Unless he gives you a reason to believe the light is green, don't go rushing into anything with this fun-loving guy.

typically speaking guys are confusing but that just goes to far, obviously he isnt particularly serious about it anyway so just dont worry about it unless HE starts giving u a GOOD reason to think he is serious.
